Joel Fajerman - Waterproof
From Fajerman’s 1981 album Azimuts, a spacey, bubbly collection of synthesizer instrumentals. Lots of gurgling arpeggios and tranced out repetitions, but not in the dark palettes of Tangerine Dream or other Berlin school explorers. Almost a space disco record, but without the required nods to the dancefloor groove. More contemplative and all the better for it.
